1. If the dengue patient is not bleeding from any site, and if the platelet count is more than 20000, there is no need to give any blood or platelet concentrate. If a doctor says to pay, he is either ignorant, or dishonest, or both.
2. No hospital can charge for donating blood. It is prohibited by the law of this country. Larger blood transfusion sets may cost more. If the wholesale price is too high, 100 rupees. Private hospitals in West Bengal charge 800 to 1200 rupees. It is illegal. and theft.
3. Death in dengue occurs in 99% of cases from DSS or dengue shock syndrome. It does not bleed. Leakage of water from the walls of blood vessels is the main cause of death.
4. For that PCV or Haematocrit should be checked daily. This test measures the concentration of blood. If concentration increases, IV fluids should be given. In 99% of DSS cases, doing just this is usually not life-threatening.
5. 0.001% of cases die from dengue. 99% of that is for DSSA. That is, one in a million dies of bleeding.
6. Even then, there is no evidence in the medical literature that platelets can stop bleeding. However, platelets can be given if there is bleeding or platelets fall below 20000. I don't let it go below 10000. 3000 also saw many patients getting well.
7. In case of dengue, the fever goes away on the second or third day. A seven-day fever cannot be dengue. NS1 antigen positive from day one. The test is simple, reliable. Dengue serology is positive from the sixth day. And IgM positive means dengue. IgG positive means previously had dengue.
8. The greatest caution is necessary during the fourth, fifth, and sixth days after the onset of fever. This is when DSS begins. So PCV or Haematocrit test should be done every few days.
9. So don't panic if you know you have dengue. Drink more fluids (not alcohol). Do PCV test daily from the fourth day. And keep an eye on the blood pressure.
10. If the blood pressure continues to drop, or there is bleeding from any area, admission is necessary. Otherwise, treat it easily at home.
11. Do not take painkillers or pain medication. Those who take aspirin for heart disease should stop for a few days. Paracetamol is safe for fever.

And deal with dishonest nursing home hospitals and doctors using this information. If necessary, go to the police against them.
