(1) When you discuss a business idea with your friends, business or family, listen to what they have to say. The collective feedback you get from them can be a reflection of how your business customers will react.
Some will discourage you, some will say encouraging words. Try to understand their body language when you share the business idea with them. In this you will get an understanding of yourself. Take note of the positive or negative words. Which will be useful for your business plan.
(2) Mix knowledge with passion. To be successful in any business you must have passion in that business. Passion will take you forward in business but knowledge will guide you in the right direction. So if you mix knowledge with passion, success will come very easily.
You can compare doing business with driving a car. Think of passion as the speed of the car and knowledge as the brakes of the car. Just like a car cannot run without speed and brakes, a business cannot succeed without passion and knowledge.
(3) Sell Solutions, Not Businesses
What you sell or serve in your business is important. More important is the problem your business solves for the customer. You need to sell the solution, not the business.
(4) Find Out How Much the Business Will Cost
After getting the business idea, calculate the cost of the business. Under-calculation or over-calculation are both bad for the business. You have to go to the field and know the exact business cost.
(5) Think you have no money in business you will always make profit This is not the case. In any business you can face loss.
How is your current income, how much money you have to invest in the business, how much money you have now, you have to calculate yourself.
